Workday Specialist I

About the role

Condé Nast is looking for a Workday Engineer I to maintain and evolve its Workday platform within a full tenant implementation. The role sits in a broader Workday team that works with business stakeholders, project leads and cross-functional technology teams to build, test and deliver technology projects. The position is based in Ciudad de Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation and updating of basic reports and BIRT layouts
• Apply foundational knowledge of Workday business process configuration, including validation rules
• Support Workday security fundamentals and the creation and configuration of standard Workday Core Connections
• Support the creation and configuration of Workday EIBs and data loading via EIB processes
• Support new Workday release activities, including impact assessment
• Engage with vendors as needed for platform support
• Provide best-in-class service to internal customers using customer support principles and best practices

Required profile

• More than 1 year supporting Workday or similar experience with other ERPs
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic, flexible environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and a strong customer-service orientation
• Self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams

Required skills

• Foundational engineering skills and software development knowledge
• Experience with Workday, especially integrations and Studio development
• Experience with ticketing systems and enterprise collaboration tools
