AI-First Software Engineer

About the role

Seso is building an AI‑enabled HR platform for the agriculture sector and is looking for an AI‑First Software Engineer to accelerate product development. You will use modern AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle to deliver high‑quality, scalable features for farms and agricultural workers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software across the full stack (frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure).
• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to translate ambiguous problems into reliable product experiences.
• Leverage AI tools to improve coding speed, debugging, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Optimize existing systems for performance, reliability, and reduced complexity.

Required profile

• Hands‑on software engineer comfortable working quickly and learning new tools.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
• Willing to work in a hybrid model with three days per week onsite in Monterrey.

Required skills

• Experience with modern AI tools for software development.
• Frontend development (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks).
• Backend development and API design.
• Database design and integration.
• Cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
