Incentives & Tax Credits Analyst

About the role

Join KTSA, the technology services arm of KPMG US, as an Incentives & Tax Credits Analyst. You will support clients by preparing and refining reports that identify and quantify tax incentives, credits, and government grants across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare incentives and tax credit reports using jurisdiction‑specific and client‑specific data.
• Research client industries and relevant tax jurisdictions to tailor opportunities.
• Review reports for accuracy, consistency, formatting, and reasonableness before manager approval.
• Perform quantitative analyses on client‑provided documentation.
• Incorporate feedback and update reports as needed.
• Assess client profiles to determine additional information requirements.
• Maintain tracking matrices for report status, owners, and due dates.
• Organize report files and supporting documentation in a centralized repository.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, taxation, or economics.
• 2‑3 years of accounting or tax experience, preferably in a public accounting firm.
• Solid understanding of tax and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with tax credits, government grants, and other incentives is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Basic data analysis techniques.
• Automation skills within Microsoft Office.
• GenAI prompt engineering and persona/agent creation.
