Logistics Engineer – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

Join Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics as a Logistics Engineer and support automotive manufacturing and program launch activities. You will work on logistics coordination, equipment tracking, document control, and operational support while collaborating with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, carriers, and international partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics operations for automotive projects, ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Track equipment movement and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage document control processes to support compliance and project visibility.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and international partners to align shipment schedules.
• Monitor project schedules, identify risks, and propose corrective actions.
• Apply knowledge of Incoterms and select appropriate land, air, or sea shipment methods.
• Provide analytical support and detailed reporting to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of specialized logistics experience.
• Conversational proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Self‑guided, proactive, and dynamic professional attitude.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
