Product Specialist – Project & Product Support

About the role

The Product Specialist provides day‑to‑day project and product support for marketed products in the Monterrey region. You will act as the primary liaison for product issues, quality questions, and returns while assisting in new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management to understand changes, upcoming launches and communicate details to the region.
• Serve as first‑line contact for product issues, quality inquiries and returns, supporting regional resolution.
• Assist in product launches, gather information for development, and create locally tailored product brochures.
• Deliver presentations, service training and weekly progress reports to management.
• Work with global product management to develop region‑specific products and add new items into JDE for sales.
• Coordinate new‑product development for the region and interact regularly with product managers.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma (required); engineering background (Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics) or associate degree in design technology (preferred).
• 1‑3 years experience in product development, product management or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with VFDs, PLCs, motor‑control devices, pump systems and hydraulics.

Required skills

• Advanced spreadsheet (Excel) proficiency.
• PowerPoint and word‑processing expertise.
• Basic contact‑management and database handling.
• Familiarity with JDE ERP system.
