Search Engine Optimization Manager

About the role

LocalEyes, a leading B2B corporate video agency, is looking for a Search Engine Optimization Manager to own and grow its local SEO presence across ten U.S. markets. You will be responsible for driving top‑3 local pack rankings, ensuring AI‑driven visibility, and delivering measurable SEO performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles for 10 cities, posting weekly content.
• Achieve top‑3 local pack rankings for “video production company [city]” in at least eight markets by Q3.
• Oversee citation management, NAP consistency, and reporting via BrightLocal and LocalFalcon.
• Conduct competitor tracking and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) audits, including JSON‑LD schema implementation on every city and service page.
• Maintain LLMs.txt files and monitor AI citation performance in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
• Monitor technical SEO health: crawlability, site speed, indexing, and Search Console alerts.
• Produce 8‑12 AI‑assisted content pieces per month, briefing Claude, editing drafts, and localizing for each market.
• Deliver monthly SEO reports to the CEO covering rankings, traffic, AEO status, and next steps.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on SEO experience with a track record of owning rankings.
• Proven experience in AEO or structured‑data projects, including JSON‑LD implementation.
• Comfortable using AI tools for content creation and familiar with LLMs.txt concepts.
• Ability to analyze data, identify gaps, and execute iterative improvements.
