Entertainment Sales Manager

About the role

The Standard, a boutique hotel opening in Mexico City’s historic Tabacalera district, is looking for an Entertainment Sales Manager to become the go‑to partner for clients in entertainment, music, fashion, film and culture. You will act as the primary liaison, ensuring the hotel is the first choice for productions, tours, launches and high‑profile events.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with production companies, record labels, talent agencies, promoters, studios and creative brands.
• Manage accounts proactively, creating repeat business and long‑term partnerships.
• Identify and secure both transient and group opportunities, maximizing revenue per account.
• Develop tailored proposals, negotiate agreements and ensure seamless delivery from inquiry to arrival.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue, Events, Marketing and Operations teams.
• Represent The Standard at industry events, premieres, showcases and networking opportunities.
• Monitor entertainment trends and translate them into business opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in hotel sales, entertainment sales or luxury/lifestyle hospitality.
• Established network within the entertainment, music, film, media or creative industries.
• Proven track record of growing accounts and uncovering new business.
• Strong negotiation, relationship‑building and presentation abilities.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
