Housekeeping Administrative Assistant

About the role

The Housekeeping Administrative Assistant supports the Executive Housekeeper in managing all clerical and administrative functions for the housekeeping and laundry division aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. This role ensures accurate reporting, log maintenance, and smooth coordination of schedules while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update a variety of operational reports, including inspection, time‑and‑attendance, bed‑bug, trend, and compliance reports.
• Manage logs such as guest‑resolution, do‑not‑disturb, and other operational records.
• Coordinate and maintain training, work, and inspection schedules for housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Support the appraisal process by scheduling performance reviews and preparing related documentation.
• Handle inventory logs, requisition functions, audit results, and internal communications.
• Ensure all administrative tasks align with Royal Caribbean’s policies, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
