Key Account Manager

About the role

The Key Account Manager (KAM) leads the commercial strategy for department‑store partners across the country, driving sales growth, profitability and market share. You will act as the primary liaison with purchasing teams, ensuring smooth supply‑chain operations and tailoring strategies to credit‑driven consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned department‑store accounts.
• Develop annual business plans and Joint Business Plans (JBP) with full‑year vision.
• Negotiate trade terms, rebates, payment conditions and promotional contributions.
• Oversee sell‑in and monitor sell‑out performance, designing promotional calendars and exclusive launches.
• Manage the account P&L, trade‑spend budget and margin objectives.
• Coordinate with logistics to maintain high fill‑rate and minimize delivery penalties.
• Forecast and track key account metrics, including an 18‑month sales forecast.
• Build and sustain long‑lasting relationships with senior stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Handle high‑severity requests, escalations and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large retail accounts, preferably in department‑store environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to develop and execute joint business plans.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence senior purchasing teams.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on sales growth, margin protection and supply‑chain efficiency.
