Supplier Quality Supervisor

About the role

The Supplier Quality Supervisor leads the containment and corrective actions for non‑conforming material supplied to Daimler Truck plants in Mexico. You will manage the end‑to‑end resolution process, ensuring defective components are isolated and permanent solutions are implemented while supporting the plant’s SQDCME objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Environment (SQDCME) metrics.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to meet or exceed operational KPIs.
• Develop and coach a diverse work team, from frontline operators to Quality Champions.
• Maintain seamless communication with operational and support departments to promptly contain and resolve quality issues.
• Collaborate closely with Quality Engineers to ensure accurate follow‑up on quality problem‑solving processes.

Required profile

• Technical knowledge of the product and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding of assembly processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Upper‑intermediate English (B2) level.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, communication, influence, negotiation, planning and organization skills.
