Accounts Payable Analyst

About the role

The Accounts Payable team at Crunchyroll is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to support accurate and timely payment processing across its international business. The role processes vendor and contractual payments, helps resolve payment issues, supports financial controls and works with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Procurement, Legal, Business Affairs and Treasury. It also covers AP reporting, reconciliations, issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process invoices and payment requests after confirming authorization, coding, documentation and approval.
• Process contractual and vendor payments, checking terms, required support and payment timing.
• Handle international AP transactions across multiple entities and currencies.
• Review vendor aging and help resolve past-due, outstanding or disputed invoices.
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations and investigate payment or invoice discrepancies.
• Work with stakeholders to resolve missing documentation, approvals or tax information, keeping records in line with SOX controls and audit requirements.
• Partner with the Tax team on tax compliance, including withholding tax, and support intercompany transactions.
• Prepare AP reports on vendor aging, liabilities, upcoming payments and open issues.
• Escalate payment discrepancies, duplicate-payment risks or process issues, and support ERP, procure-to-pay and finance transformation initiatives.
• Support audits and ad hoc projects, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable, accounting or finance experience, preferably in a large or multinational organization.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal skills in both.
• Understanding of the AP lifecycle, vendor payment processing, and experience with multiple entities, currencies or jurisdictions preferred.
• Preferred: experience with high-value contractual payments, international payments, withholding taxes, ERP or finance improvement initiatives.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of intercompany transactions, financial controls, SOX requirements and audit support.
• ERP systems and automated AP or procure-to-pay platforms; NetSuite and Coupa preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
• Analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
