Android Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to design, build, test, and maintain high‑quality native Android applications. You will work closely with product, design, QA, and backend teams to deliver user‑friendly mobile solutions that meet business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android apps using Java and Kotlin.
• Create responsive UI with XML layouts following Material Design guidelines.
• Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and JSON services.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and follow Android best practices.
• Use Android Studio, Android SDK, and Gradle for development, debugging, testing, and optimization.
• Manage builds, dependencies, and releases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and fix bugs.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain source code with Git.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing native Android applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Hands‑on experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and XML UI layouts.
• Knowledge of Material Design principles.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON data.
• Proficiency with Gradle for build automation.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
