Application Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Application Engineer to drive technical efforts that support the growth of direct and indirect sales of Cimatron CAD and Mold solutions. The role combines pre‑sales technical support, customer training, implementation, and post‑sales assistance to ensure high customer satisfaction and product adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales to deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and proof‑of‑concepts for prospective customers.
• Create technical content such as product videos for regional marketing campaigns.
• Represent the company at trade shows, webinars and industry events.
• Plan and conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and resellers.
• Manage complex support cases, ensuring SLA compliance and timely issue resolution.
• Lead implementation projects including installation, configuration and workflow optimisation.
• Mentor reseller application engineers and share product updates.
• Document configurations, customisations and best practices; provide feedback to product teams.
• Participate in beta testing, report bugs and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering pre‑sales technical support for CAD/CAM or similar software solutions.
• Strong ability to train customers and resellers and to manage implementation projects.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
