Central Monitor – Remote (Brazil)

About the role

The Central Monitor is a key member of IQVIA’s Central Monitoring Department, providing remote support across multiple clinical projects. Working from home, you will review structured clinical data, interact with sites and ensure data quality throughout the study lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform centralized monitoring activities and evaluate study quality against protocol, SOPs, and regulations.
• Maintain internal systems, databases, and tracking tools with accurate project information.
• Manage triggers, prepare i‑site packs, and assist with basic data analytics and trend analysis.
• Participate in study team meetings, verify information, and triage data issues.
• Escalate site quality issues to the Centralized Monitoring Lead or Senior Central Monitor.
• Conduct subject‑level data reviews, investigating inclusion/exclusion criteria, IP, AEs, labs, endpoints, and SAEs.
• Interact with sites and CRAs to follow up on milestones from study start to close‑out.
• Act as backup for the Central Monitor Expert when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, related field, or nursing (or near completion).
• Minimum 2 years of on‑site or remote monitoring experience.
• Advanced level of English.
• Ability to support sites in Latin America or North America.
• Home‑based work setup.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
