Claims Governance, Compliance & Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

The LAC Claims Governance, Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for executing AIG's global and regional claims governance and compliance strategy across Latin America & Caribbean. The role oversees claims compliance, supports audit programs, and collaborates with risk, audit, legal and business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a strong control framework and lead claims governance and compliance for LAC claims.
• Develop and maintain global claim policies, standards and controls, ensuring training and awareness.
• Manage reviews of global claims authorities, major loss thresholds and other controls.
• Support the QA audit schedule, monitor operational controls and implement improvements based on audit feedback.
• Coordinate business improvement programs, remediation activities and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies.
• Represent claims in enterprise forums, ensure effective communication with stakeholders and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive compliance, governance, audit or regulatory background.
• 5+ years of claims handling experience across multiple lines of business.
• Proven ability to lead change, influence senior leaders and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong business mindset, data‑driven decision making and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of insurance claim operations and regulatory environment.
• Experience building governance frameworks in complex organizations.
• Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies.
