Collections Analyst

About the role

The Collections Analyst supports AIG Insurance’s finance operations in Mexico City by managing premium payments, handling refunds, and providing customer service to producers, insureds, and internal clients.

Key responsibilities

• Register payments to policies using semi‑automated or manual methods and prepare refund payment orders.
• Provide customer service for premium‑related issues such as unrecognized or duplicate charges.
• Produce local and global reporting, financial and accounting reports in compliance with US GAAP and FAS 5.
• Prepare KPIs, consolidate overdue premium data, and create executive presentations.
• Collaborate with Accounting to supply financial and operational information and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in the insurance industry or similar collections/accounting role.
• Understanding of accounts receivable and billing processes.
• Proactive, analytical, organized with strong communication and teamwork skills.
