Collections Supervisor

About the role

The Collections Supervisor at AIG will lead the collections team, ensure timely financial reporting, and support strategic decision‑making through data analysis. This role collaborates across Distribution, Finance, and Lines of Business to align operational activities with corporate goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present regular operational metric reports to senior management.
• Analyze collection data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
• Lead, evaluate, and develop the collections team, fostering a positive work environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise collections management and reduce bad‑debt reserves.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, handling premium payment inquiries.
• Monitor performance metrics such as aging reports, recovery ratios, and cash budgets.
• Continuously assess and streamline collections processes for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or coordination experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance finance, accounting, and collections processes.
• Ability to analyse data, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate findings.
• Intermediate English proficiency and excellent communication skills.
