Communications Manager

About the role

Join Cisco’s Latin America Communications team as a Communications Manager for Mexico. You will shape strategic narratives that translate Cisco’s technology and business objectives into compelling stories for internal and external audiences across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated internal and external communication strategies aligned with Mexico’s business goals and global priorities.
• Craft clear, accessible narratives that simplify complex technical concepts for media, customers, partners, and employees.
• Create a variety of content and campaigns, including thought‑leadership pieces, key messaging, presentations, blogs, social media posts, and media pitches.
• Establish measurement frameworks to evaluate campaign effectiveness and report business impact to regional stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate reputational risks through proactive issues and crisis communication planning.

Required profile

• Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public‑relations agencies, or media‑related roles.
• Outstanding editorial competence with a proven ability to distill sophisticated ideas into concise, actionable copy.
