Communications Specialist

About the role

Harbour Energy is seeking a Communications Specialist to support the internal and external communications strategy for its Mexico Business Unit. The role will help raise the company’s profile in the Mexican energy sector and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the annual internal and external communications plan aligned with business unit and corporate objectives.
• Design, create and distribute communication assets such as social media posts, newsletters, flyers, advertising materials and presentations.
• Plan, develop and organise internal and external events and campaigns in collaboration with other functions, agencies and media partners.
• Explore innovative ways to position Harbour Energy as a leading brand in Mexico’s energy market.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety, regulatory, ethics and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Proactive communicator with a strong understanding of corporate and marketing communications.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with internal teams, external agencies and media contacts.
• Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance and ethical standards.
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is advantageous.
