About the role
The Complex Marine Analyst III investigates, evaluates, negotiates and settles marine, specialty and property claims, ensuring compliance with policy terms and contract provisions.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and analyze claim data to determine acceptance or denial of claims.
- Manage loss mitigation activities, including salvage and subrogation, to protect profitability of the marine line.
- Establish solid positions before liable third parties and handle policy cancellations and non‑pay denial letters.
Required profile
- Medium to advanced knowledge of marine claims handling.
- Strong understanding of policy terminology for accurate interpretation.
- Basic to medium knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements, with experience in negotiation, mediation, arbitration and ADR.
- Experience following technical claims audit recommendations and driving continuous improvement.
