Connected Devices Project Manager

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Connected Devices Project Manager in Mexico City. You will manage small to medium-sized connected devices projects, which are either stand-alone or full-service, across all clinical trial phases. Working under the support of a Senior Project Manager, you will make sure projects are delivered to the sponsor's satisfaction, on time and within budget, in line with policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Under supervision, plan, initiate, execute, control and deliver projects according to the agreed Scope of Work.
• Lead the cross-functional teams behind each project to successful delivery.
• Document and circulate project-specific guidelines and make sure the team is trained on them.
• Track progress, identify and evaluate risks and advise on corrective actions.
• Prepare and present project information at internal and external meetings.
• Manage project finances with guidance, including revenue recognition, forecasts and change orders.
• Hold an End of Project review and keep leadership informed of issues affecting quality, budget and timeliness.
• Give input to line managers on team members' performance to support career development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a life science or health care-related discipline.
• Clinical trial industry experience.
• Three years of project management experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Good leadership, prioritisation, scheduling and organisation skills.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Microsoft Project.
• Risk management skills.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
