Qualitative Project Manager, Patient Centered Solutions

About the role

IQVIA's Patient Centered Solutions (PCS) team designs scientifically rigorous research that incorporates the patient voice into the development and commercialization of medications and other interventions, working mainly with life science and pharmaceutical companies. The Qualitative Project Manager works in the Study Execution Team (SET) and owns the operational execution of the data collection phase of PCS studies, including the primary research phase, taking part in proactive project planning and study fielding.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the primary research process from feasibility through study closeout, including timelines, recruitment plans and cost estimates with partners and sites.
• Review recruitment materials for IRB submission and give input on protocol, screening documents, confirmation of diagnosis, recruitment outreach and quantitative survey materials.
• Secure recruitment partners (vendors, patient advocacy groups, sites) and handle their training, contracting, purchase orders, invoicing, sFTP sites, interviewing platforms and online material programming.
• Monitor recruitment so participants meet criteria, coordinate transcriptions, payment of honoraria, informed consent and CODs, and approve vendor invoices.
• Track budget for out-of-pocket costs and billable time, ensure legal and fiduciary requirements such as fair market value and anonymity are met, and safeguard against unnecessary expenses.
• Provide regular internal and external recruitment and project updates, and ensure compliance with IQVIA requirements and SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 5-7 years of project management experience, preferably in market research, healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
• Able to multi-task, think quickly, solve problems creatively and deliver accurate information and quality results.
