Corporate Communications LATAM Senior Manager

About the role

The Corporate Communications LATAM Senior Manager will lead integrated communication strategies that reinforce Nissan’s brand and reputation across Mexico and the broader Latin America region. This role partners with senior leaders, cross‑functional teams and global communications to shape messaging, manage reputation, and drive high‑impact media engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated corporate communications plans to boost brand visibility and reputation.
• Build and maintain relationships with top‑tier media outlets across LATAM.
• Lead strategic communications campaigns, including press releases, content development and digital storytelling on LinkedIn.
• Oversee executive communications, thought‑leadership initiatives and digital presence for senior leaders.
• Manage crisis communications, corporate announcements, stakeholder engagement and safety/recall messaging.
• Provide media training, speechwriting support and briefing materials for executives.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Monitor PR performance metrics, industry trends and identify proactive communication opportunities.
• Manage agency partners and ensure alignment with corporate strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in communications or public relations, with a mix of agency and in‑house roles.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving and issues‑management capabilities.
• Fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
