DevOps Engineer

About the role

Loop8.io is an AWS Advanced Tier Partner that builds AI‑driven solutions for healthcare, life sciences, and fast‑moving SMBs. As a DevOps Engineer you will own the infrastructure layer of client projects from day one, designing AWS architectures, writing Terraform, and delivering production‑grade systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS architectures tailored to client needs.
• Write and maintain Terraform (or CDK) code for infrastructure provisioning.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or CodePipeline.
• Deploy and operate containers on ECS, EKS, or Fargate.
• Collaborate with solutions architects, full‑stack engineers, and AI engineers.
• Act as the primary DevOps voice on projects, writing runbooks and troubleshooting issues proactively.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping production AWS infrastructure with real traffic and uptime targets.
• AWS certification at Associate level or higher (company will cover certification costs).
• Strong English communication skills; Spanish is a plus for LATAM engagements.
• Ability to interact directly with clients, explain technical concepts clearly, and take initiative without waiting for tickets.

• Compliance knowledge (HIPAA, SOC 2) – optional but advantageous
