DevSecOps Cloud Engineer – 100% Remote (Mexico)

About the role

We are looking for a DevSecOps Cloud Engineer to join our remote team in Mexico. The ideal candidate will combine strong software development skills with deep expertise in AWS security services to automate and harden our cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts for security processes.
• Deploy and manage AWS resources using Terraform, ensuring secure and scalable infrastructure.
• Implement and optimize serverless workflows with AWS Step Functions and Lambda.
• Leverage AWS security services such as IAM, Control Tower, KMS, Macie, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, and EventBridge.
• Integrate security automation into CI/CD pipelines and monitor AWS infrastructure for availability, performance, and compliance.
• Provide hands‑on support for pipeline security, CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes, SIEM, CSPM, and vulnerability scanners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Python, Go, or similar languages focused on automation.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS security‑centric services.
• Proficiency in Terraform and familiarity with AWS Step Functions and Lambda.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently or within a team.
