Director of Finance

About the role

Join Susurros del Corazón as Director of Finance, reporting directly to the General Manager. You will drive strong financial performance for the hotel and residences, enhance owner relationships, and ensure robust financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial input into the Hotel and Residences Strategic Plan, Budget and other strategic planning exercises.
• Maximize cash flow performance and establish adequate controls for all revenues, expenses and asset protection.
• Maintain accurate, timely financial information, provide analysis, interpretations and projections.
• Oversee professional development of finance staff and ensure compliance with Mexican laws and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Prior experience as a property finance leader, preferably with residential finance operations.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with ability to present complex information to senior management and owners.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Excellent understanding of the Uniform System of Accounts.
• Deep experience with hotel financial reporting systems, policies and procedures, and management agreements.
• Experience evaluating operating and financial agreements and developing risk mitigation strategies.
