Early Career Trade Credit Analyst

About the role

Join AIG’s Early Career Trade Credit team in Mexico City, supporting underwriting activities for financial and credit lines. This full‑time, on‑site position is designed for recent graduates eager to start a career in global insurance and corporate finance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist underwriters in evaluating insurance applications and reviewing risk submissions against underwriting guidelines.
• Gather and verify information from clients, agents and internal databases.
• Prepare underwriting reports, proposals and support policy issuance and endorsements.
• Collaborate with claims, sales and other departments to ensure accurate risk assessment.

Required profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree (Administration, Finance, Accounting or related) with availability for full‑time work starting July.
• Strong interest in corporate finance and the global insurance industry.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Customer‑service mindset with good organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel).
