Employee Relations Partner – Latin America, US & Canada

About the role

As an Employee Relations Partner you will act as a trusted advisor for managers, employees and HR Business Partners across Latin America, the United States and Canada. You will lead investigations, guide disciplinary actions and help ensure compliance with local employment laws while fostering a fair and respectful workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct workplace investigations into discrimination, harassment, hostile work environments and other employee complaints.
• Gather and analyse information from employees, managers, witnesses and stakeholders to determine findings and recommend actions.
• Advise managers on performance concerns, improvement plans, corrective actions and disciplinary processes.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to recommend responses based on precedent, risk assessment and policy.
• Support involuntary terminations, reductions in force and other sensitive matters, including on‑site assistance in Mexico when required.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide guidance on employee‑relations best practices.
• Prepare investigation reports, case summaries and other documentation while managing multiple concurrent cases.
• Collaborate with the global Employee Relations team to share knowledge and ensure consistency.

Required profile

• Experience in Employee Relations, Human Resources, Labor Relations or Workplace Investigations.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and employee‑relations practices in Latin America, especially Mexico.
• Proven ability to manage investigations, disciplinary actions and performance‑management cases.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
• Willingness to commute to the Reforma office for a hybrid work schedule.
