ERP Analyst – Colleague (California Regulatory)

About the role

Ellucian is looking for a detail‑oriented ERP Analyst to join its California Regional Development team. The analyst will ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of California regulatory releases for the Colleague ERP platform, working closely with product, development, QA, and support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and prioritize functional requirements for California regulatory features, converting them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, including both manual and automated functional testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright.
• Record and manage test plans, cases, and results in SpiraPlan or equivalent test‑management tools.
• Lead release validation activities: review designs, validate sprint deliverables, log defects, and confirm that all requirements are met before deployment.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced Agile environment.
• Experience translating business needs into clear technical specifications.

Required skills

• Playwright for test automation.
• SpiraPlan or similar test‑management platforms.
• Functional testing and test‑automation techniques.
• Requirement analysis, user‑story creation, and acceptance‑criteria definition.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Ellucian Colleague.
