Finance Analyst – Regional Cost Accountant

About the role

TE Connectivity is seeking a Finance Analyst to serve as the Regional Cost Accountant for the Sensors Business Unit across North America. You will own standard costing, inventory valuation, and cost control processes, partnering with site controllers, product management, and commercial finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead in SAP.
• Review BOMs, routings, info records, source lists and inter‑company sources.
• Lead annual standard‑cost roll‑outs and periodic updates.
• Manage inventory valuation and ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and partner with operations to drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with plant operations, supply chain, and procurement to improve cost performance and support make‑vs‑buy decisions.
• Maintain and enhance costing processes within ERP systems and support system upgrades.
• Drive continuous improvement in cost accounting practices and controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑6 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing and inventory accounting principles.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites or regions.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Bilingual Spanish‑English.
