Finance Director – Clean Air (Americas)

About the role

Johnson Matthey is seeking a Finance Director for its Clean Air business across the Americas. You will be responsible for the financial health of the region, partnering with operations and commercial teams to drive performance and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own regional P&L and balance‑sheet performance, delivering earnings, cash flow and working‑capital targets.
• Lead finance business partnering, establishing operating rhythms and accountability for productivity, cost, margin and mix.
• Provide strategic finance advice to the Managing Director and senior leadership on pricing, investments, footprint and restructuring.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, scenario analysis and risk management for the Americas.
• Develop and mentor the regional finance team, enhancing FP&A, controllership and plant finance capabilities.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACCA, CMA or MBA preferred.
• Proven regional finance leadership with full P&L accountability.
• Experience in balance‑sheet ownership, statutory compliance and audit across multiple entities.
• Strong analytical ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management in a matrix environment.
