Finance Officer – Accounting (Guadalajara)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Finance Officer to join our finance team in Guadalajara, Mexico. The role supports day‑to‑day financial operations across multiple entities, currencies and jurisdictions, and works closely with teams in Mexico, Peru and the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, record and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group policies.
• Perform monthly General Ledger, Balance Sheet and multi‑currency bank reconciliations (MXN, USD).
• Manage intercompany transactions, reconcile balances, maintain loan schedules and support invoicing processes.
• Oversee daily accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, coordinate approvals and monitor vendor relationships.
• Record and allocate expenses across cost centres, prepare supporting schedules and validate documentation.
• Assist with payroll accounting entries and provide cross‑functional financial support.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities and contribute to financial statement preparation.

Required profile

• Experienced accounting professional with a strong attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; ability to communicate effectively with multinational teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment.
• Proactive attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.
