Finance Travel and Entertainment Representative

About the role

Helpware is seeking a full‑time remote contractor to manage day‑to‑day support for its internal travel and expense program. You will be the first responder in Slack ticket channels, assisting employees with Navan (travel) and Ramp (expense) queries.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Slack ticket channels and respond to employee inquiries about Navan and Ramp.
• Troubleshoot booking changes, expense submissions, receipt requirements, card declines, reimbursements, and policy questions.
• Escalate platform bugs or policy exceptions to the appropriate owner (Finance, Ops, or vendor).
• Track recurring questions and flag documentation or policy gaps.
• Meet response‑time expectations and ensure tickets are resolved, not just answered.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in a support, helpdesk, T&E, or finance‑ops role.
• Hands‑on experience with Navan, Ramp, or comparable platforms such as Concur, Expensify, Brex, TravelPerk.
• Clear, concise written communication; comfortable communicating in Slack.
• Patient, service‑oriented and able to say “no” politely when policy requires it.
• Self‑directed and able to manage a queue without supervision.
