FP&A Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

The FP&A Analyst will lead expense management oversight, preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts, while monitoring financial controls and performance for AIG Mexico. This role supports senior leaders with comprehensive expense analysis and contributes to board reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate targets.
• Analyze expense variances, headcount, and KPI data to provide actionable insights.
• Develop expense performance reports for senior leadership and board meetings.
• Validate cost‑saving initiatives and ensure compliance with expense controls.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve budgeting and forecasting issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
