Head of Marketing

About the role

Devoted Studios is a globally remote game development company that provides co-development, porting and end-to-end art production for the gaming industry. It is looking for a senior marketing leader to own the function end to end: the brand, the content, the podcast and the materials the sales team uses. The role reports directly to the CEO and focuses on building automation infrastructure, using AI, workflows and data to move faster.

Key responsibilities

• Own the brand and its positioning across social media, the podcast, the website, events and client materials, commissioning and directing creative work
• Own the pitch and sales deck library, case studies and service descriptions, working with the BD team
• Set content direction, coordinate client approvals and IP permissions, and oversee community management
• Run the Devoted Speakeasy podcast: editorial quality, guest pipeline, production cadence and cross-channel amplification
• Lead a team of experienced marketers, set priorities and delivery cadences, give weekly reporting to the founder, and manage contractors, agencies and vendors
• Direct marketing automation and AI workflows built and maintained in-house

Required profile

• 10+ years in marketing, with meaningful time leading teams
• GameDev or an adjacent creative/technical services business selling to enterprise clients
• Has built sales and client-facing material used by a commercial team and worked closely with founders
• Structured, delivery-focused, comfortable being direct, and fluent enough with AI and automation tools to direct them

Nice to have

• Background in GameDev, art production or the creative industry
• Outsourcing, co-development or work-for-hire experience
• B2B marketplace or talent platform experience
• Paid channel (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) and SEO basics, email marketing platforms
