Social Media Manager - TikTok & Instagram (EDM Focus)

About the role

A full-time, fully remote Social Media Manager position based in Mexico, working US business hours (EDT). The role focuses on building and growing TikTok and Instagram pages from the ground up, with a strong emphasis on performance, engagement and audience growth. Candidates should have a genuine interest in the music world and ideally hands-on experience in the electronic music space.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow around 5-8 social media pages (mainly TikTok and Instagram) focused on EDM content, creating content for the whole network of about 15-20 pages
• Develop and run content strategies tailored to viral trends and audience engagement
• Create, edit and post high-performing short-form video content
• Optimize page setup, bios and positioning for maximum reach and growth
• Identify EDM, DJ culture and viral audio trends to drive engagement
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy to improve growth and reach
• Maintain consistent posting schedules and engage with audiences to build an active community

Required profile

• Proven experience managing and growing TikTok and/or Instagram pages
• Strong understanding of electronic dance music and its global audience
• Demonstrated success creating viral or high-performing content
• Ability to optimize and scale pages from early stages
• Nice to have: experience managing several pages at once, a background in music, DJ culture or entertainment content, and familiarity with analytics tools

What we offer

• Salary of $1,800 - $2,500 per month
