HR Generalist – Labor Relations

About the role

We are looking for an HR Generalist specialized in Labor Relations to support our unionized manufacturing plant. The role ensures compliance with labor legislation, the collective bargaining agreement and promotes a collaborative workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor the Collective Bargaining Agreement, handle grievances, conduct investigations and liaise with union representatives.
• Oversee employee administration including hires, terminations, personnel files, attendance tracking and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican Federal Labor Law, assist internal audits and keep accurate legal documentation.
• Drive workplace engagement by supporting recognition programs, employee activities, internal communications and managing services such as transportation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or maquiladora setting.
• Proven experience working with unionized workforces and collective bargaining agreements.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican Federal Labor Law.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English.
