Human Resource Business Partner

About the role

The Human Resources team partners with Nordic leadership to design, implement and continuously improve talent strategies, policies and practices. As a Human Resource Business Partner you will act as a proactive consultant and coach to internal business partners, championing the employee experience across the full lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal business partners to identify and implement talent strategies aligned with Nordic’s business objectives.
  • Champion company culture and deliver exceptional employee experiences.
  • Provide consultation and coaching to departmental leadership, interpreting HR policies as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR teammates and business partners to develop programs, policies and talent solutions that support each business unit and align with the company vision.
  • Guide day‑to‑day performance management, including reviews, talent identification, career development and disciplinary actions.
  • Identify and design training and development solutions that foster career growth and skill development.
  • Lead complex employee‑relations cases by conducting thorough assessments and implementing appropriate resolutions.
  • Serve as an operational lead for a defined centre of excellence, mentoring HR teammates and providing day‑to‑day support.
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying and implementing operational efficiencies.
  • Analyse data trends and metrics to inform recommendations for departmental and business‑unit leaders.
  • Participate in ad‑hoc projects and support corporate initiatives as required.

Required profile

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar consultative HR role.
  • Strong understanding of talent‑management processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, compensation, performance, development, retention).
  • Ability to coach and influence senior leaders and departmental managers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to act as an employee‑experience advocate.
  • Analytical mindset with capability to interpret HR data and metrics.
  • Experience managing complex employee‑relations issues and driving resolutions.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior HR colleagues.
