Innovation Consultant – Health (R&D Funding)

About the role

We are looking for a curious, entrepreneurial professional to join Inspiralia as an Innovation Consultant in the Health sector. You will support American clients by organizing R&D funding, managing SBIR/STTR proposals and turning early ideas into viable concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Research, write and submit high‑quality R&D proposals and business case studies tailored to client needs.
• Manage the quality and evolution of SBIR and STTR proposals for U.S. government funding.
• Interface with clients across the United States, maintaining professional relationships and ensuring project alignment.
• Validate concepts and provide technical consultancy from idea generation through to implementation.
• Coordinate travel (≈20 %) to the United States and occasionally Europe for client meetings and project work.

Required profile

• University degree in Science, Health, Industrial Engineering, ICT, Physics or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in industrial, technological or R&D consultancy, including tender and grant writing.
• Familiarity with federal grant funding mechanisms such as SBIR/STTR.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet strict deadlines and communicate in native‑level English (C2‑Grade A).
• Willingness to travel up to 20 % of the time.
