IT Support Specialist – On-site (Bilingual)

About the role

HCLTech is seeking an experienced on‑site IT Support Specialist to join its Desktop Support team. The role involves partnering with Customer IT design teams, Level 1 Service Desk, and other support groups to maintain core infrastructure and desktop technologies across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24x5 on‑site technical support, including break‑and‑fix, IMAC/D, preventive maintenance, and VIP user assistance.
• Support meeting‑room equipment, mobile devices, server/network “hands‑on” tasks, and PC refresh cycles.
• Deliver primary desktop support for Windows OS, Mobile Device Management, video‑conferencing systems, and L3 applications.
• Troubleshoot and perform gap analysis for issues affecting end users globally.
• Document recurring issues in the Customer Knowledge Base and maintain detailed case records in the ITSM system.
• Follow the Customer critical incident process and ensure consistent procedures across the enterprise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of combined experience supporting desktop and mobile environments.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently on‑site.

Required skills

• Mobile Device Management and Mobile Web Apps (iOS, etc.)
• Active Directory administration and infrastructure design
• Advanced troubleshooting of Windows 10, Windows registry, and Microsoft Office Suite (2010/2016)
• Hardware troubleshooting with ability to differentiate hardware vs. software issues
• General troubleshooting of macOS and networking components
• Microsoft Intune, Office 365, Azure MFA
• Desktop imaging and printer support
• Skype/Teams video‑conferencing system support
