Lead Data Engineer - Data Engineering 4C

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to head a team of data engineers and deliver Big Data solutions. The position is remote, based in San Pedro, Mexico, and is a regular day-shift role. The company describes itself as an agentic and advanced technology solutions provider that uses process intelligence and artificial intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of data engineers in developing and implementing Big Data solutions
• Design and build scalable, reliable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Ensure data quality, integrity and security across all data systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address business requirements
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies in Big Data and data engineering
• Analyze data and troubleshoot to optimize system performance and efficiency
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, systems and infrastructure

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science or Statistics, or a Master's in Data Science
• Certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (Riversand), Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate, and Oracle Database 12c Implementation Specialist
• Proficiency in English (C2)
