Senior DevOps Engineer - Service Enablement (Remote, Mexico)

About the role

SailPoint, a worldwide leader in enterprise identity security, is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for its Service Enablement team. The role is remote and based in Mexico. You will work across AWS and Azure with engineering and service teams to build, run and improve the environments that power Identity Security Cloud, following a roadmap from onboarding to becoming a subject-matter expert and mentor.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a resilient, secure and efficient SaaS platform meeting established SLAs.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, management and incident response across cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, Kubernetes).
• Monitor site stability and performance, troubleshoot production issues and scale infrastructure with sound capacity, reliability and cost practices.
• Work with Engineering, Product and Services teams, and collaborate with developers to bring new features into production.
• Develop operational runbooks, reusable patterns and documentation, including live demos for stakeholders.
• Take part in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation; no nighttime alerts.
• Service enablement: prioritize incoming platform work, validate requests and triage, and partner with product and platform engineering teams on service design and handoffs.
• Build standard implementation methods, automation, pipelines, modules and charts, and support tenant and environment lifecycle workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years in 24x7 production operations, preferably for a SaaS or cloud service provider.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: experience under SLAs or structured intake, and experience with Java/JVM services, Kafka, Elasticsearch or .NET workloads.

Required skills

• AWS and/or Azure with meaningful depth in at least one; experience across both is a plus.
• Kubernetes in production (EKS, AKS or equivalent); Terraform.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Argo CD, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Linux administration and debugging; scripting such as Python or Bash (PowerShell a plus for Azure-heavy workflows).
• Additional AWS and/or Azure certifications are helpful.
