Legal Associate (Remote, Full-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Legal Associate to support our growing appellate law practice. This remote, full‑time position is ideal for candidates with a J.D. (U.S. or international) who are passionate about legal research, analysis, and writing.

Key responsibilities

• Review administrative, medical, and other case records to identify facts, legal issues, and procedural errors.
• Conduct statutory, regulatory, and case‑law research and draft first‑draft memoranda (≈10 pages).
• Organize case materials, develop legal theories, and assist the supervising attorney in shaping persuasive arguments.
• Revise memoranda based on feedback and ensure timely, accurate delivery of written work.

Required profile

• J.D. degree (U.S. or international) strongly preferred.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing abilities.
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Legal research using statutes, regulations, case law, and administrative authority.
• Legal writing and memorandum drafting.
• Ability to synthesize complex factual records into clear analyses.
