Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will ensure the reliability and efficiency of production and utility machinery at Franke's Foodservice Systems plant. Working on‑site, you will lead preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities while supporting special projects and emergency shutdown/start‑up operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance for production and utility equipment.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and propose effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in the company database, including spare‑part inventory.
• Lead the Shutdown and Startup Team during plant emergencies.
• Inspect facilities for safety hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate maintenance plans for building systems (roofing, HVAC, electrical, compressors, lighting) with external suppliers.
• Report performance indicators on machinery effectiveness and efficiency as defined by management.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently under general managerial guidance.
• Experience with preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance processes.
• Familiarity with PDCA analysis tools for problem solving.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking repair requests and vendor information.
