Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Rare Diseases

About the role

Our pharmaceutical company is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join the Medical Affairs team in Mexico City. The role focuses on establishing scientific partnerships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to support our rare‑diseases portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Engage scientifically with KOLs, investigators and healthcare professionals.
• Provide medical education and evidence‑based support for rare‑disease products.
• Participate in scientific congresses, medical events and advisory boards.
• Support medical affairs and research initiatives, including data generation and insight gathering.
• Generate medical insights from field interactions and translate them into actionable recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical and company standards.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (MD) with a valid medical degree and license (mandatory).
• Previous experience as an MSL or in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of rare diseases.
• Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
• Excellent scientific communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
