Medical Scientific Liaison – Oncology

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) specialized in Oncology to build and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals and opinion leaders. The MSL will act as a scientific bridge, delivering unbiased, evidence‑based information about AstraZeneca’s oncology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.
• Organise and deliver scientific seminars, briefings and virtual meetings for HCPs.
• Identify opportunities to address medical questions and provide practical solutions.
• Partner with academic centers to ensure access to current oncology scientific data.
• Collaborate with the sales force to share accurate drug and therapy information when required.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor qualification.
• Detailed knowledge or experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in medical liaison functions.
• Experience in Oncology or high‑specialty therapeutic areas.
• Strong project and relationship management capabilities.
• Fluent in English.
