Plant Quality/Product Engineer – Project Rampage

About the role

Stellantis is seeking a solutions‑oriented Plant Quality/Product Engineer to support the Toluca Complex. The role will work across multiple vehicle commodities, leading quality systems, providing technical expertise, and driving continuous improvement throughout the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage internal and external quality KPIs, drive corrective actions and escalations to meet targets.
• Lead vehicle‑quality improvement initiatives, addressing non‑conformities and protecting product design intent.
• Identify risks and hazards, develop FMEAs and associated control plans, and support risk mitigation.
• Supervise rework and repair processes ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
• Participate in product launch activities, develop and execute the launch quality plan, and lead quality performance tracking during pilot builds.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and corporate teams to resolve engineering issues and implement improvement glide paths.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, including flexible shifts, overtime and weekends.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and capable of influencing cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience creating and applying FMEAs and control plans.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and corrective‑action processes.
