Public Accountant – Full Cycle Accounting (On-site, Guadalajara)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Public Accountant to join our accounting team in Guadalajara. The role is fully on‑site and involves managing the complete accounting cycle, from journal entries to month‑end close, supporting both internal reporting and external audits.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑cycle accounting activities, including journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and review accruals and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Participate in month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes.
• Analyze financial transactions, investigate discrepancies, and prepare schedules for financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues.
• Identify missing information, potential risks, or accounting issues early and communicate them proactively.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (Licenciatura en Contaduría Pública).
• Professional license (Cédula Profesional).
• Experience in general/full‑cycle accounting.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Col Providencia, Guadalajara.
• Flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet close deadlines.
• Proficiency in English.
