Record to Report (RTR) Accountant - Hybrid

About the role

IFF is expanding its Record to Report (RTR) team and is looking for a professional to join its Global Business Services function. The role supports accurate and timely financial reporting and operations across LATAM and North America. It is based in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, in a hybrid arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Analyze financial data and identify process improvement opportunities
• Partner with cross-functional teams across LATAM and North America to deliver high-quality results
• Contribute to a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and efficiency

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Previous experience in RTR processes, General Ledger or accounting operations
• Solid understanding of financial principles and reporting
• Intermediate to advanced English (required); Portuguese is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• Ability to collaborate with cross-regional teams

Required skills

• Experience in a shared services or global environment is a plus
• Exposure to LATAM and/or North American accounting processes is a plus
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is a plus
