Recruiting Manager – Solar & Construction Field Hiring

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Recruiting Manager to lead all hiring activities for field‑based positions across Texas. The role focuses on attracting and hiring skilled trades professionals such as electricians, solar installers, and roofers for a fast‑growing solar and roofing company.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle recruiting for field roles, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies to attract qualified trades talent.
• Build and optimise recruiting workflows, pipelines and best‑practice processes.
• Coordinate interviews, maintain clear communication with candidates, and make hiring recommendations.
• Track recruiting metrics and continuously improve hiring efficiency.
• Establish relationships with trade schools, referral networks, job boards and other sourcing channels.
• Ensure an excellent candidate experience from outreach through onboarding.

Required profile

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, solar, skilled trades, manufacturing or logistics.
• Proven ability to source, screen and hire electricians, roofers, installers and other labor positions.
• Strong organisational skills and experience managing high‑volume pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and become the primary decision‑maker for field hiring.
